To support the automatic generation of RIAs using the RUX-Model proposal, we have release the first version of the CASE tool.
This tool helps developers representing all the graphic diagrams and representations proposed by RUX-Model.
RUX-Tool is able to take advantage of the hypertext applications already defined in WebML. Actually we are working to define the neccessary connection rules to use other well-known Web application models like OO-H and ArgoUWE.

During the last years, Web Models have demonstrated their utility facilitating the development of Web Applications. Nowadays, Web Applications have grown in functionality and new necessities have arisen. Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) have been recently proposed as the response to these necessities.
However, present Web Models seem to be incomplete for modeling the new features appearing in RIAs (high interactivity, multimedia synchronization, etc).
We propose a Model Driven Method called RUX-Model (Rich User eXperience Model) that gives support abstract to final Interfaces specifications for multi-device RIAs. RUX-Model is thought to be applied over existing HTML-based Web Applications generated using a Web Model.

In the last years different methodologies have been propose to systematize the Web development processes. Only on some of them have been created CASE tools that automate partly or totally this development. Some of these tools are used with didactic aims for the learning of the processes implied in the development of applications Web under web modelling approaches.
Nevertheless, in our knowledge none of the present ones allows neither the cooperative online design, do not offer capacities for supervised and real-time cooperative modelling of the tasks implied in this process of development.
MetaRIA is an online application for the automatic generation of Web applications based on a notation inspired in WebML that allows different modellers to design in a cooperative and supervised way, as well as to generate a RIA Web application from data models and hypertext that use the OpenLaszlo as presentation server and the asynchronous data connections to send and retrieve data.

Several proposals are available to enable remote compilation. However from our point of view those tools do not provide enough facilities to the users to be used as real IDE development platforms such as remote version control, colour syntax or multiple source languages supported.
PLAG bring a remote IDE to the user everywhere and every time. Nowadays PLAG is able to control and compile ASSEMBLER 8086, C, C++ and Java, but others compilers may be added easy.
PLAG is also extended with a remote management project control for e-learning purposes.

ENCOPROG is a Web Application that use Rich Internet Application technology in other to allow high levels of interaction for learning purposes based on mind maps. It allows different users to construct and share conceptual maps, creating and relating (by means of arcs) different ideas (nodes) in a real-time cooperative way.
Actually mind maps software solutions do not incorporate on-line access and collaborative solutions and this has been demonstrated to be very useful inside the mind maps technique.
Using ENCOPROG users may share ideas with other users, represent these ideas graphically and propose changes over these representations.

The edition of masks for the design of integrated circuits is a singsong an little intuitive process in which it is necessary to apply an extensive set of rules. At the present time there are different tools that give support to this process of design.
Nevertheless, these tools are complex and tedious when they are applied mainly for educational purposes in the design of circuits due to that they have been raised for enterprise and non-educational purposes.
RIA-LD is a Rich Internet Application tool to facilitate making practices in the subject of “Design of Integrated Circuits”, that allows user with multi-device features to accede by means of rich Web technology to a virtual space where they can make the design of the masks of circuits. The tool is able to be used online and offline. The propose techniques allow to an efficient advantage of the laboratory hardware and software resources and a precise pursuit of the student practices that they make. This tool has been tested and obtains better indices of learning that other proposal.
